NRW.International
NRW.International coordinates the promotion of foreign trade in North Rhine-Westphalia. In particular, it supports small and medium-sized enterprises in the development of important growth markets worldwide.
In close cooperation with is partners NRW.International provides a variety of measures tailored to the companies’ needs: it is responsible for the organization of joint fair presentations abroad as well as coordination and support of international trade delegations from North Rhine-Westphalia to foreign countries – always enriched by an extensive specialized program, featuring brokerage events and symposia, for example. As member oft he worldwide Enterprise Europe Network project NRW.International also organizes B2B activities between visiting and regional companies.
NRW.International coordinates these activities between intermediary organizations and the government of North Rhine-Westphalia in order to provide excellent services and political backing by the regional representatives tot he business community.
Packbridge
Packbridge is a part of the Swedish innovation system, a neutral, non-profit member organisation, and probably the biggest packaging cluster in Europe. Packbridge unites the entire packaging value chain starting with raw material producers and then users, brand owners, retailers, design bureaus etc ending up with recycling.
Packbridge also includes academia, public sector and have established a startup community. Packbridge was founded in 2010 and is headquartered in Malmö in the south of Sweden. It is a melting pot for research and innovations, as well as an established cluster community for the food industry, pharmaceuticals, IT and several other industries. The idea with Packbridge is to create a venue that naturally connects the industry with academia, public sector, startups and perhaps what is more important - people with people.
Packaging Cluster
Constituted by Catalan companies in 2012, today it groups 93 active members between companies, knowledge centers and entities representing the entire value chain of the field, which range from R & D, raw materials and intermediates; the machinery; Peripheral and line endings; Packaging manufacturers; and end users.
The main objective of the Packaging Cluster is to help improving the competitiveness of the companies that make it, in order to generate more and better business for companies and organizations in the world of packaging. This improvement comes from the promotion of networking, knowledge and business, which are worked by six strategic axes which have an annual plan of activities to reinforce and consolidate their respective actions.
Notably, the Packaging Cluster has the support of all the administrations, working closely with them to impact heavily on the overall economy. In that sense, there are three key certifications for the world of clusters. The entity is integrated into the Program Catalonia Clústers ACCIÓ, is a cluster registered as Innovative Business Association (AEI) by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism and received the European qualification gold cluster management by the European Cluster Excellence Initiative (ECIS).
kunststoffland.NRW
kunststoffland NRW e.V. is the network for all stakeholders involved in the plastics value chain in North Rhine-Westphalia, whether we are talking about a medium-sized plastics processing business, a company manufacturing machinery for processing plastics, a recycling company or a large international concern, university or research institute. kunststoffland NRW is the platform for information and communication, networking and collaboration.
German Packaging Institute
The German Packaging Institute (Deutsches Verpackungsinstitut; dvi) was founded in 1990 and is based in Berlin. The dvi is the largest network organization within the German packaging industry. It is the only network, which unites members from all levels of the value chain regardless of their specific sector or the type of material used.
The network collects processes and distributes important information, which provides members of the network with significant insights and furthers innovation. It takes on important impulses, also giving them back over and over again.
Business Upper Austria
Business Upper Austria (Biz-up) develops, coordinates and runs Upper Austria´s RIS3 strategy since 1998. It is the centre of competence for cross-company cooperation in Upper Austria. At present, more than 2.300 members of the Biz-up collaborate successfully with each other, benefitting from the professional, personalised support, project management skills and cooperative solutions tailor-made for their specific needs.
Food Cluster, which is a department of Business Upper Austria, is the largest Food Network in Austria (around 215 partners). The main competence of the Food Cluster can be described as to use the synergy to enhance innovation and to strengthen regional and supra-regional competitiveness in all fields. The Food Cluster is aiming at the improvement of network creation between different know-how-providers (e.g. SME, global player, research institutes, universities, associations, etc.) on regional and interregional level.
